car rant

Took my car in for an oil change this morning. On the way there, my battery light stayed on. So I had them look at it and it turns out I need a new alternator. $300 I don't really have to spend.

Oh, and by the way, my rear strut is messed up and they can fix it, but they like to fix them both, and that's about $500+. At least I know what is making that weird clunking sound.

Ugh. So I'm getting a new alternator today. One of my coworkers works on cars, so I'm hoping he can do the struts a bit cheaper than the shop.
