Does TIME ever do Woman of The Year?

  • Hi! Thanks for the link. To answer your question:

Until 1999, the title was named Man of the Year, but this was changed to reflect that the title is not limited to men. However, the only women ever to win the renamed award were those in 2002 who were recognized as "The Whistleblowers." Four women won the title when it was still Man of the Year: Corazon Aquino in 1986, Queen Elizabeth II in 1952, Soong May-ling in 1937 and Wallis Simpson in 1936.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Person_of_the_Year
